Brandon Burris
Brandon Burris was born in Fayetteville, NC, but grew up mostly in sunny Southern California. His passion for food began in high school when he became hooked on The Food Network. That interest, combined with his proficiency in science, led him to earn a degree in Food Science and Technology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
As a professional Food Scientist, Brandon always prioritizes the customer experience, which is why he believes in Spark. He wants everyone to have the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of caffeine at their own pace, wherever they are.
Brandon Fields
Brandon Fields, born and raised in Los Angeles, California, has always had a passion for sports and fitness. A lifelong friend of Brandon Burris, he brings both scientific expertise and personal enthusiasm to Spark. Professionally, Brandon earned a PhD in Materials Engineering and works as an engineer; fueled by plenty of caffeine throughout his studies, workouts, and daily life.
With his engineering mindset applied to caffeinated foods, Spark was born: a clean, sustained-energy gummy designed to deliver the exact amount of caffeine you need, without the crash. By combining his love for fitness, science, and (admittedly) a little too much caffeine, Brandon helped create a product that works with the body, not against it.
He is passionate about bridging the gap between science and wellness, while keeping the process fun along the way.
Mari Coffey
Mari Coffey brings her energy and passion for fitness to Spark. Back in her powerlifting days, she was no stranger to late-night caffeine boosts, sometimes taking 300mg at 11pm just to get through training. Today, she’s a group fitness instructor who channels that same drive into helping others discover their own love for working out.
Outside of the gym, Mari enjoys going on long walks and exploring new food spots. With Spark, she’s excited to share a cleaner, more balanced way to enjoy caffeine while supporting an active lifestyle.
